Auction Fever

Even if your math is somewhat rusty, it should be easy to figure out the answer if you add a room full of rock hounds, a table full of rocks and an auction together. The answer is one - one hot auction that is!

Strands of beads, hard-to-get slices of agate and jasper, fire agate, soon-to-be-cabochon pre-forms, faceted and en cabochon gemstones, fool’s gold specimens, an onyx cutting board, faceting rough, crystals, mineral and fossil charts and Tampa Bay coral were all part of the loot.

Pre-show T-shirts were also available.

It seemed like everyone took home a treasure and a deal.
