Tampa Bay Fossil Club - A family oriented organization focused on paleontology, archaeology, and the natural sciences in general.  The Tampa Bay Fossil Club awards two annual scholarships to University of South Florida students working in the field of paleontology and geology. The 20 year old club hosts numerous field trips and gatherings through the year.

 

Wildacres Retreat - A conference center offering its facilities to non-profit groups conducting educational or cultural programs on topics such as music, art, science, religion, lapidary, craft and writing.  It is also available for staff and board retreats for non-profit organizations.

 

William Holland School of Lapidary Arts - A mountain top retreat, operating on a seasonal basis, offering classes from April through November open to anyone interested in the lapidary arts.  This is a school for the hobbyist, not just for lapidary, but for many areas in jewelry making.
